Lunova Group is searching for an Area Sales Manager for our client, a global technical insulation company, to be based out of Pittsburgh, PA. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the passive fire protection market and will lead the growth efforts within that market in the United States. The candidate will also work to develop long-term relationships with customers, manage complex issues, analyze industry trends, and be involved in the growth of the business, specifically within the passive fire protection arena.
Area Sales Manager Responsibilities:
Develop new business in the passive fire protection arena
Build and manage a pipeline of potential clients
Implement new initiatives to increase sales & profitability
Establish strategic sales plans to achieve objectives
Identify market targets to accelerate revenue growth and improve sales efficiency
Conduct market research and analysis on main competitors
Seek out and research prospective projects through making phone calls, traveling, attending industry conferences, exhibitions, and trade shows, etc.
Identify new areas of business opportunities beyond current organizational thinking
Ability to travel frequently
Area Sales Manager Requirements:
Bachelor’ s degree in related discipline
International business experience
Demonstrated experience in communicating effectively and building relationships quickly
Strong technical aptitude
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
