Lunova Group is recruiting for our client, who provides services to a variety of industries including oil & gas, steel, aluminum and automotive. We are seeking an Executive Director to manage the entire brokerage department and all related activity. The successful candidate will generate and develop new leads in order to penetrate new markets and monitor current brokerage program to ensure quality and efficiency of services.
Responsibilities of the Director of Brokerage:
Responsible for brokerage sales activities, department and personnel
Develop initial business relations with new customers and works to transition into active customer list
Review and manage payout margins to ensure established profit goals
Provides leadership to the day-to-day operations of the Brokerage department, while maintaining focus on the overall strategic goals of the company
Assist in development of the strategic marketing plan for the company
Manage activity that will ensure that all brokerage revenue goals are met
Other duties as required
Requirements of the Director of Brokerage:
Bachelor’ s degree in a related discipline
Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in a brokerage role
Must be driven and self-motivated
Must possess a sales and customer service attitude
Must be a relationship builder
