Lunova Group is currently seeking a knowledgeable Environmental Advisor for our client, a manufacturer of industrial products, to ensure ongoing compliance to required Environmental standards, OSHA regulations, and DHEC/EPA environmental policies. The successful candidate will use procedures to audit performance and lead overall plant initiatives to highlight and carry out improvement opportunities in order to reduce risk.

Environmental Advisor Responsibilities:
Act as primary Environmental contact for designated plants
Oversee full implementation of corporate safety and environmental standards that insure OSHA, EPA and governmental regulatory compliance
Support the creation of Environmental goals in order to drive a safe Environmental culture
Ensure that required regulatory permits are acquired, reports are submitted to regulatory agencies, and any site permit conditions are met
Develop and implement a thorough training program for all manufacturing employees for safety and environmental
Reviewing and assessing current environmental practices against current regulations and laws
Visiting sites as part of continuous monitoring
Advising on environmental risks for new projects
Auditing environmental targets and managing environmental compliance
Environmental Advisor Requirements:
Bachelor’ s degree in related discipline preferred
7+ years of environmental experience within a manufacturing setting
Experience within a union environment
Understanding of core environmental principles and regulations
General knowledge of research and auditing
Strong problem-solving skills
