Lunova Group is searching for a Project Engineer for our client, a full-service construction firm specializing in large scale, non-residential projects, to provide operational and engineering support to construction projects and estimating. The Project Engineer will ensure the accuracy of all calculations, coordinate all scheduling and planning, and proper execution of procedures to successfully complete the assigned projects.

Project Engineer Responsibilities:
Set up initial contracts and project information
Initiate, prepare, and track status of submittals
Develop and implement quality control procedures
Prepare CPM schedule for projects
Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, DBE and EEO requirements
Monitor and track project cost control
Assist in management of project permit requirements, preparation of bid packages and procurement
Maintain and track accurate unit cost, production, location and daily reports
Other duties as assigned
Project Engineer Requirements:
Bachelor’ s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or related discipline
Ability to read plans, cross sections, standards and specifications
Knowledge of public works and DBE program
Experience with drafting software (Sketchup, CAD, Revit, Abode, Bluebeam)
Experience with estimating software
Must be self-motivated
Strong communication skills
