Sales Representative – Memphis, TN/Southeast

Lunova Group is searching for a  Sales Representative for our client, a manufacturer of refractory mixes for the steel industry, to support their fast-growing steel industry sector. The candidate will be based in a home-office and travel to customers as needed. This person will be responsible for account management and new business development of refractory applications within the territory.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive base salary, bonus, benefits, company car and room for continued growth within the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • To develop and expand the business within the territory
  • Manage the P&L for your region
  • Ensure the correct processing of client orders, logistics and payments
  • Monitor the market by analyzing the competition, potential new clients, raw material cost and regulations
  • Draft and negotiate contracts
  • Provide timely and accurate sales quotations and proving timely follow up to customer inquiries
  • Provide customer service and technical support and resolving customer problems

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’ s degree preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of steelmaking is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the industrial/steel industry, refractory experience a plus
  • Travel up to 70% or as needed
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Results oriented and self-driven with a willingness to succeed
