Refractory Project & Sales Manager – Pittsburgh, PA or Youngstown, OH
Lunova Group is a retained search firm specializing in manufacturing and engineering. Presently, we’ re working with a leading installer of refractory linings. The hiring team is seeking an experienced Indsutrial Project Manager to focus on business development and account management in the Greater Pittsburgh/Youngstown area.
You will play a critical role in delivering high quality refractory solutions their clients have come to expect.
You will report directly to an owner of the company. You will have access to a team of experienced professionals who will assist you in delivering the right solutions. This experienced team will also help you in the early days to become familiar with the company’ s products, services and culture of achievement. Business to business industrial and commercial sales in a regional area
Defining, generating, qualifying and prospecting new business targets
This is a hands-on position that requires the ability to prioritize and complete a wide variety of sales development activities such as prospecting via cold calling, networking, and developing long term partnerships
Significant amount of time will be spent interacting with customers, proactively solving problems, and strengthening your presence in the local refractory community
Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial sales or project management, preferably with refractories or other high temperature products
BS in Materials Science, Ceramic Engineering, or other Engineering discipline preferred but not a requirement
Aptitude for problem solving and a genuine interest in helping others
